Family Open Days

For the first time in Tobruk’s history this beautiful Station is open to the public on select Saturdays and Sundays each month. The standard Tobruk program runs on these days and includes all activities, billy tea and damper and the full lunch meal. Tobruk often runs additional fun activities for the kids, so that the adults get a little more time to relax during and after lunch. Families will need to arrive promptly at 10.15am as the show gets underway at 10.30am sharp. All you need to do is phone us to make a booking. The next Open Days are:

  • 7 June – Please note this day is already fully booked
  • 12 July
  • 17 August
  • 20 September

Bookings are essential and must be made no later than 48hrs prior.  

Get out in the country fresh air and experience rural and outback Australia for the day. The kids will love you for it!

School Holiday Program - July 2008

T obruk is pleased to announce its School Holiday Program to be run between 7 and 18 July. The program contains three key events:

Jackaroo and Jillaroo Camp: 7-11 July. This camp is designed for the 10 – 14 year olds and will be packed with fun and challenging activities with a focus on learning and applying practical farm and bush skills.

Holiday Camp: 9-11 July. This camp is designed for kids aged 7 – 9 years old and is a two night / 3 day camp along similar lines as the jackaroo camp, but pitched at the younger children.

Day Program: Tobruk is running a day program for kids of all ages on the 9 th and 15 th of July . 10.30am – 3 pm.

Farmstay Now Available

It is with great excitement that Tobruk opens ‘The Station Homestead’ to the public and international visitors for farmstay. This rustic, country style home will be opened in June this year after an extensive renovation and upgrade.
