Family Open Days - Every Sunday


Tobruk’s family days run every Sunday. Family Days at Tobruk are designed to get the family away from the pressure of everyday life, out into the country fresh air where everyone in the family can enjoy an outback and country experience in a relaxed family farm atmosphere.

The regular Tobruk program runs on these days and includes all activities, billy tea and damper and lunch. Lunch for adults is the T-Bone meal and Kids is the sausage and hamburger meal all accompanied by veges and salad, dinner roll, tea, coffee, juice, water, desert and ANZAC biscuits.

Tobruk often runs additional fun activities for the kids, so that the adults get a little more time to relax during and after lunch. Families will need to arrive promptly at 9.15am as the show gets underway at 9.30am sharp. Should you be unable to find a Family Day that suits your schedule, please contact us and enquire about other upcoming shows, which you would be welcome to join.

Bookings are essential and must be made no later than 72hrs prior. The kids will love you for it!
Ticket prices start from $25 pp adults and $10 for children under 5years old and  includes morning tea and 4 hours of entertainment. Two-course, home cooked country lunch options are also available in the Woolshed Restaurant.

Christmas in Winter - June / July

Celebrate Christmas in Winter at Tobruk Sheep Station. After the success of last years Christmas in Winter series, Tobruk is excited to announce that it will improve the Christmas in Winter Shows in 2010. The Show will include: 

  • The full Tobruk show of exciting and engaging demonstrations and activities 
  • Billy tea and damper around the campfire for morning tea
  • Delicious Christmas lunch in the licensed Woolshed Restaurant
  • Live bush and Christmas music during lunch (new)
  • A free glass of wine  (new)
  • And of course fresh air, stunning views and loads of fun

This event fills up fast so book early to avoid disappointment!
Book as an individual, couple or get a table of eight together.
Christmas in Winter Special shows will be held on the following dates:

  • June: 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 29th and 30th
  • July: 1st, 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 27th, 28th and 29th

Camping in the Outback - Select Weekends

Tobruk offers camping on select weekends throughout the year. BYO tent and equipment and camp on the fresh, green grass adjacent to the Drovers camp. Get a few other families to camp at the same time.

Camping prices: $10pp (BYO tent) or $20pp (tents supplied)

Camping Party: Consider a great party idea for the kids. Mum and dad stay in the Drovers cabin and the kids camp next to the cabin in 2 and 3 person tents supplied by Tobruk.

The regular Tobruk program runs on Sundays and you can choose to cook your own meals on the BBQ facilities or dine in the Woolshed Restaurant.
