TOBRUK Sheep Station, the most beautiful and most authentic rural

Set on over 150 acres (70 hectares) on a high plateau above the Hawkesbury River, Tobruk is surrounded by State Forests and bushland, with amazing views to the Blue Mountains. You will feel 1,000 miles from anywhere but in reality you’re only 70 minutes from Sydney (10 mins short of Wisemans Ferry).

Tobruk is ideally suited for families through to corporate groups, seniors groups, international tourists and incentives who are looking for something unique or wanting to get out of the city and experience rural and outback Australia for the day.

Everything at Tobruk is authentic - our warm and friendly staff dedicated to showing all our guests what it is that makes Australia a special country, the charm of the rustic buildings, blacksmiths shop and farm machinery, the warmth of the open campfire in Drovers Camp with billy tea and baking damper, the hearty country meals, the friendly animals and the beautiful sunsets high above the Hawkesbury River and Blue Mountains.

Tobruk is 100% family owned and operated. The owners, stockmen and staff will welcome you upon arrival. The owners meet and greet their guests, will frequently be involved in the days activities, and enjoy talking to their guests during lunch.


TOBRUK is open on select Saturdays and Sundays for individuals and families and weekdays for group day and evening bookings throughout the year. Day programmes generally run from 10.00 am - 3.00pm and evenings programmes from 5.00pm - 9.00pm. Extended hours are by negotiation. Prior bookings are essential. Farmstay, camps and special events require bookings well in advance and are subject to availability.		The Tobruk programme includes a sumptuous, country style, home cooked meal with the freshest ingredients and produce, sourced locally on a daily basis. The portions sizes are plentiful and range from sausage and hamburger meals through to T-Bone and Scotch Fillet complete with salads, vegetables, bread roll, desert, tea, coffee and traditional homemade ANZAC buscuits. Check our menus. We can cater for special requests with prior notice. (TOBRUK is pleased to quote for any client request). Vegetarian, fish and halal meals can be supplied with prior notice.


TOBRUK is open on select Saturdays and Sundays for individuals and families – bookings essential. Most other times TOBRUK is a group product accepting groups of 30 pax upwards (conditions apply). TOBRUK can comfortably seat 200 - 210 people in the restaurant with its current seating. For larger groups, extra tables or a marquee can be organised. Our capacity caters for anything up to 1000 plus people. TOBRUK has disabled facilities with easy access and ramps to most areas.		Special Requests TOBRUK can cater for most clients’ special requests with prior notice.
