Terms and Conditions
Tobruk Camps and Group Programs


Conditions of Participation

Tobruk Pastoral Company Pty Ltd ('TPC') reserves the right to alter the itinerary, withdraw any program or tour and make any desirable alteration for the convenience of the operation of any program or tour.

A minimum number of registrations are required to run camps. It may therefore be necessary to cancel, reschedule, offer alternatives or offer a refund for camps unable to be commenced.

By commencing any program or camp at Tobruk participants acknowledge acceptance of our terms and conditions, waive any liability to TPC and agree that TPC shall hold no responsibility in itinerary alterations, delays or cancellation, strikes, theft, death, injury, loss &/or damage to personal belongings or luggage through, accidents, weather or any other causes.

TPC reserves the right to decline or decline to accept any participant for any reason before or during the camps and general programs.

Prices of TPC products are subject to change without notice. Participants are responsible for confirming individual product prices at the time of booking. All programs, products & camps are subject to change without notice.

Country cooked meals are provided daily. Food is sourced locally and served fresh. Vegetarian and vegan meals are available upon request at the time of booking.

A general level of fitness is required for the participation and enjoyment of our camps. It is the individual participant’s responsibility to report any special requirements to TPC at the time of booking.


Program Content

Participants agree to the program and camp content at the time of booking. It is the responsibility of participants to make themselves familiar with individual program or camp content at the time of booking.

Some activities, tuition, exercises & demonstrations cannot always be delivered with certainty due to the nature of a working sheep station and the program may change without notice depending upon the day-to-day operations of the station.

Seasonality & Weather

Programs offered throughout the year may be affected by seasonality as well as extreme weather conditions i.e. wet, cold, dry and hot

As a consequence of seasonality & weather, alternative activities may be scheduled to replace some of the activities.


Free Time

Free Time is offered to participants for their personal relaxation.


Program Flexibility & Rescheduling

To ensure appropriate content is delivered to participants; flexibility & rescheduling of the program from time to time may be required. Rescheduling is both a response to and caused by seasonality & weather, group sizes, group profiles including age, gender, physical condition, physical conformation and culture.

Occupational Health and Safety

Participants acknowledge that some farm-based activities contain inherent risks and will use safety gear provided as appropriate and obey the risk management policies as briefed by TPC.


Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation of all bookings shall incur a service fee as follows:
  • less than 5 days = no refund,
  • 5 days to 2 weeks = service fee of 25% of invoiced amount
  • greater than 2 weeks = service fee of 10%.
  • Alterations to group numbers must be provided within 5 days of a scheduled booking

All refunds will be issued by TPC company cheque or internet transfer only to an address advised by the customer. There will be no cash refunds. Bank charges may apply. Where TPC exerts it’s right to cancel a camp or program due to an inability to meet minimum number requirements or any other reason, liability to such cancellation is limited to full refund of money received by TPC and this will constitute full settlement.TPC takes no responsibility for wet weather impacting upon any program nor will it offer further refunds but will endeavour to arrange alternative activities where possible.TPC reserves the right to cancel any activity where animals, vehicles, staff and guests may be at risk of injury or accident.

TPC is committed to protecting your privacy. Participants of TPC camps and programs may provide us with personal information. Any personal information you provide to us will be used to provide you with the services you have agreed to. TPC respects your personal information and endeavours at all times to keep it secure.

Your personal information may also be provided to other parties for the purpose of completing your transactions with us or receiving a service from us. For example, your credit card issuer, with our assistance, may receive your personal information to the extent necessary to complete a transaction or arrange a service.


If you purchase from us or choose to provide your personal information to us, we will only use this information for purposes you have agreed to. Unless you indicate to us that you do not wish to receive marketing material, promotions or special offers we may provide such a service. You can request not to receive such information by contacting us. Other than this, we will not give your personal information to anyone without your approval.

TPC will keep your personal information confidential & secure. All of your information is kept in a location that is protected by secure servers. If you wish to access the information we have received from you at any time please contact the Managing Director. TPC aims to ensure all of your personal information is accurate at all times. To assist us in doing this we ask that you inform us of any changes to your information by fax, phone, email.

Personal information will not be disclosed without your consent, the only exception to this is where we would be required by law to do so. TPC will not accept responsibility for the use of any information that has been obtained through unauthorised access.
